Bonny Doon Vineyards exposed their 2023 Chenin Blanc to orange peels for 16 days to produce an orange-tinted wine. The wine was named in reference to making contact with the skin of the oranges. The design and illustration played into Bonny Doon's brand association with interstellar exploration, alien encounters and “making contact” with another life form.
